Intemporelle Benefit Evening

On April 3, 2024, La Maison de la Sérénité held its Intemporelle Benefit Evening. We raised $978,050 for the cause of end-of-life care. Here's a video of the evening's highlights—many thanks to Témoin Production for capturing it all. We look forward to seeing you in 2025 to celebrate La Maison's 15th anniversary with us!

The 2024 Holiday Campaign has now concluded! Despite the Canada Post strike that took place last November, and thanks to the exceptional support of our honorary president, our donors, partners, employees, and volunteers, we are proud to announce that $52,279 has been raised for La Maison de la Sérénité.

Your commitment has been outstanding this year: many of you made meaningful and tangible contributions to support our cause. Thanks to you, we can continue to provide essential services to those who need them the most.

A big thank you to each and every one of you for your generosity and solidarity!

The 3rd edition of The Walk ''Marchons pour La Maison'' - was a record year!

Under sunny skies, La Marche ''Marchons pour La Maison'' 2024 occurred on Sunday, September 22. Over 225 people, nearly 150 walkers, gathered on site to support Laval's only palliative care residence. La Maison de la Sérénité would like to thank our co-presidents Anne-Catherine Farley, LL.M. D.D.N., Notaire and Paolo Galati, Saint-Vincent de Paul City Councillor, the La Marche organizing committee, the walkers, partners, donors and volunteers who participated in this 3rd Edition. Special thanks to our animators Kim Sullivan, Marie Andrée Leblond and Yan England and our ambassador Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard. Roxane Filion and Stéphan Côté provided the musical entertainment.

Thanks to you, we raised $106,675! We hope you'll all be there in 2025 for the 4th Edition of La Marche ''Marchons pour La Maison'' as we mark its 15th anniversary. Thank you, everyone!

When a partner like Desjardins is involved and motivates their troops to go the extra mile for the palliative care mission, what more can you ask for? This is how we had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Céline Caron, Director of Customer Member Experience at Desjardins, and also a member of the Walk Committee "Marchons pour La Maison" Her family and herself gave their all to realize this event on September 10, 2022. La Maison is very grateful to them; we are sure it will be a long partnership with Mrs. Caron! Here are a few words from her.

"Before I knew La Maison de la Sérénité, palliative care was more than end-of-life care, offered in CHSLD and often under undesirable conditions. When I discovered the existence of La Maison, I was charmed by the staff's warm welcome, but above all, I had the impression of entering a haven of peace.

As a Desjardin employee, I am proud that my employer supports and encourages this organization. I even notice that mutual assistance and the desire to contribute to the well-being of one's community are two common critical points within our organizations. This prompted us, my family and myself, to get involved in organizing this beautiful long walk.

To me, La Maison de la Sérénité is a place of reflection, love, and sharing for people and their families at the end of life. Every city in the world should have their own "La Maison de la Sérénité", and that's precisely why we must continue to support it daily."

– Mrs. Céline Caron, Director of Customer Member Experience at Desjardins and member of the Committee for The Walk "Marchons pour La Maison"
